HC Forklift America Corporation Exhibits at Modex 2024

Atlanta, Georgia: On March 11^th, 2024, at 10:00am, the doors to the Exhibition Hall of Georgia World Congress Center opened. This signaled the start of MODEX 2024. In the heart of C Hall, HC Forklift America Corporation (HCFA), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hangcha Group, displayed our equipment to manufacturing and supply chain buyers from all across the globe. Over the course of 4 days, our team from the U.S., China, Canada, and Mexico were able to meet with dealers, end-users, and other vendors.

New Product Introductions

At MODEX 2024, we displayed 4 different units from Hangcha’s full line of material handling equipment. This included:

• XE Series Electric Lithium-ion Pneumatic Forklift
  • 5,000lb Capacity
  • Features a new on-board 110V Charger and a Recycling Clamp from our partners at Cascade.
• A Series Electric Lithium-ion Medium Level Order Picker
  • 3,000lb Capacity
  • New Model Introduction that features a 40” width for narrow aisle applications.
• A Series Electric Lithium-ion Walkie Pallet Truck
  • 8,000lb Capacity
  • New Model Introduction that increases our electric lithium-ion walkie pallet truck capacity to 8,000lbs.
• XC Series Electric Lithium-ion Personnel Carrier
  • 470lb Capacity/4,850 Towing Capacity
  • New Model Introduction that adds a lithium-ion powered personnel carrier to our specialty equipment offerings.

The New XC Series Electric Lithium-ion Personnel Carrier

Both end-users and dealers were excited to see all the equipment that we brought to the show. However, attendees were drawn to the booth by our new XC Series Electric Lithium-ion Personnel Carrier. This new personnel carrier is powered by a maintenance-free Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) battery. Combined with the on-board 110V charger, the personnel carrier can opportunity charge while the operator is on break or working in the facility. This new personnel carrier provides attendees with the flexibility to move up to two people, cargo, or tow materials through a manufacturing facility, warehouse, or convention center.

 

The new XE Series Electric Lithium-ion Pneumatic Forklift with On-Board Charger Option

Once in the booth, attendees also quickly noticed the new 110V charging cord on display next to our XE Series Electric Lithium-ion Pneumatic Forklift. This new option provides attendees with the ability to plug the forklift into a standard 110V outlet and charge it using the new on-board charger. They were impressed that this forklift gave their operators the option to charge it using that or our standard, external lithium-ion chargers. Attendees felt that with the XE Series rugged indoor/outdoor design and the flexibility to charge using either charger, made it the perfect addition for their rental fleet.

HANGCHA INTELLIGENCE

This year at Modex, we launched our new Automated Systems group, HANGCHA INTELLIGENCE, in the United States. This group provides AGV’s, Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems, and Automated Manufacturing Capabilities that are tailored to each individual project.

At MODEX 2024, we had a live demo of 3 different units from HANGCHA INTELLIGENCE’S automated guided vehicles. These included the:

• Mini Stacker AGV
• Reach AGV
• Case Handling AGV

After the success in both Europe and Asia, we look forward to automating industrial applications with Hangcha’s automated solutions in the United States.

Overall, our team enjoyed being able to meet with the attendees and share the benefits that our equipment has to offer. We look forward to seeing everyone again at our next trade show, BREAKBULK, in Houston on October 15-17, 2024.
